Monthly meeting for the internet industry in Spain
Geek Dinner changes its name to Last Thursday
In a blatant rip off of the First Tuesday concept Conor, John and myself decided the name Geek Dinner was too technical and may be sending the wrong message, so we have changed it to Last Thursday - to try and appeal to a broader internet user.
What does this mean?
We will now meet every last Thursday on each month at Sane internet offices between San Pedro and Puerto Banus.
Each meeting will have a different theme and topic.
Why use Ning?
Ning enalbes us to easily create a social group for Last Thursday. People can subscribe to the RSS feed upload photos e.t.c.
We were using Google Groups and Meet Up or even a blog - but we wanted a combination of all three and ning is the obvious choice.
